A physician of the AION clinic. Not a coordinator, not an assessor, not someone reading questions off a screen. The doctor who reviews your screening form is the doctor you speak with, and the one who stays responsible for your case if you continue.

Fair questions before you book
A free consultation is usually a sales conversation with someone whose job is to book you in. This is a 45-minute medical consultation with a physician who has read your screening form before the call. You are paying for a doctor's time and judgment, and the judgment is allowed to be: AION is not right for you.
Forty-five minutes with an AION physician who has reviewed your case beforehand, an honest medical read on your situation, and a plain answer on next steps: a program worth exploring, specific tests first, or a no. You leave knowing where you stand, whichever answer it is.
No. Nothing is sold on the call. If your doctor sees a reason to go further, you get the proposed plan, the timeline and the costs to consider in your own time. And if the honest answer is no, that is the answer you get.
Both are free if you do it at least 24 hours before the call. You can reschedule once from your confirmation email, and your screening form and payment carry over, or cancel for a full refund. Inside 24 hours the full fee applies, because your doctor has reserved that time for you. The full cancellation and refund policy is linked under the booking calendar.
Then you hear it on the call, in plain language, and where sensible you are pointed toward what your situation does support. That outcome is not a failure of the consultation. It is proof the screening is real.
You can book a 30-minute follow-up call with the physician for €50, for anything you want to go over again or decide later. There is no obligation to.
AION is a private clinic and does not bill insurers directly. You receive a receipt for the consultation, and whether your plan reimburses private consultations is between you and your insurer.
