IV Therapy at AION in Limassol, Cyprus

The tiredness a drip menu cannot fix

You are tired in a way sleep does not fix, and somewhere along the line someone offered you a menu of drips. AION does not sell menus. A physician reads your blood work first, and if something is genuinely missing, iron, B12, vitamin D, that is what goes into the bag. Nothing else does. Finding out starts with a free call.

  • I am tired in a way sleep does not fix, and my blood count is apparently fine.
  • I run on coffee and willpower, and I am operating at 60 percent.
  • My heart pounds on the stairs, and I am losing more hair than usual.

Sometimes that has a measurable cause: iron depletion, a B12 or vitamin D deficit. Sometimes it does not, and an infusion would do nothing. The only way to know is to test, which is why AION tests first.

Physician review before any infusion

Composed per your blood work, not from a menu

NAD+, glutathione and micronutrients only where results support them

What the trials say, including the negative one

AION would rather show you the evidence than a menu:

  • The best-known trial of a multivitamin drip, the Myers' Cocktail, found it worked no better than intravenous saline in a blinded comparison (Ali 2009). The ritual is powerful. The mixture, for a body that isn't deficient, is not
  • IV iron has real blinded-trial evidence: in 90 fatigued women with depleted iron stores, 82% improved versus 47% on placebo, with the benefit concentrated in genuine depletion (Krayenbuehl 2011)
  • For B12, trials show high-dose oral replacement can match injections in deficiency, which is why the diagnosis matters more than the route (Wang 2018)
  • The pattern across all of it: correcting a documented deficiency works, infusing nutrients you already have does not

Who may be suitable

Screening is the whole point of doing IV therapy in a clinic. Your blood work decides what makes sense, and what does not.

It may be considered when

  • Your blood work has been reviewed by an AION physician
  • There is a clear reason for the infusion in your plan
  • You prefer a clinical setting with screening and records

It is not offered

  • From a fixed menu of named drips
  • Without recent blood work and physician review
  • With promises about immunity or energy. AION does not make them

What a session involves

A session is unhurried and private, and everything that goes into it is documented.

1

Before

Your physician reviews your blood work and history, then defines what the infusion should contain and why.

2

During

A nurse places the IV line and stays available throughout. You rest in a private room; most infusions take under an hour.

3

After

The session is recorded in your plan. If follow-up blood work is useful, your physician schedules it rather than guessing.

Risks and limitations

The difference between clinical IV therapy and a drip bar is who decides what goes in: here, a physician composes it and a nurse administers it, documented in your record. Low-risk when screened and supervised, never zero-risk:

  • Bruising or irritation at the needle site
  • Reactions to specific components, which screening exists to catch
  • Receiving nutrients you do not need has no benefit, which is why AION tests first

Questions about IV Therapy

In a clinical setting with screening, yes, the risks are small and manageable. The screening is not optional at AION: no recent blood work, no infusion.

Because a menu means everyone gets the same bag regardless of what their body needs. Your infusion is composed from your blood work by a physician, which is the only honest way to do it.

Yes. A physician reviews your blood work and history before any infusion is prepared. If you have recent results, bring them; if not, the clinic takes care of it.

The strongest trial of the famous multivitamin cocktail found it no better than saline, and AION will tell you that to your face. What does hold up in blinded trials is correcting documented deficiency, iron above all. That is why the model here is test first, infuse second, and skip whatever your results do not support.
