EBOO in Cyprus, without the hype
You have probably seen EBOO marketed as blood cleaning, detox, or an immune reset. AION offers the procedure, runs it to the same clinical standard as plasma exchange, and will not sell it to you with claims the research cannot back. If you are weighing it up, the right first step is a free call about your actual case, not a purchase.
Closed single-use circuit and filter
Physician trained in ozone therapy
Nurse support at the start and end of every session

Who may be suitable
EBOO is available only where your assessment supports it. It is a specialized procedure with dedicated equipment, not a generic ozone setup.
It may be considered when
- Your AION assessment is complete and your physician recommends it
- Your blood work supports the procedure
- You understand what it is and what it is not
It is not offered
- As a detox or a cure. AION makes no such claims
- Without screening and physician approval
- To anyone with an unstable cardiovascular condition, an active infection, a clotting disorder, or another finding that raises the risk of the procedure

What a session involves
The session runs on a closed loop with single-use components, from access to return. Session count and spacing are set by your physician and reviewed as your plan progresses, not fixed in advance.
Before
Assessment, blood work, and an eligibility review with the physician who will perform the procedure.
During
Blood is drawn, passed through a single-use dialysis-style filter where it is oxygenated and ozonated, and returned. A trained nurse assists at the start and end, and your vitals are monitored.
After
You are observed before leaving. Your physician reviews the session with you and decides together with you whether further sessions make sense.

Risks and limitations
EBOO here is performed by a physician trained in it, supported by a nurse, with dedicated single-use consumables for every session. It is an invasive procedure and carries risks your physician explains before you decide:
- Risks connected to vascular access, such as bruising or discomfort
- Reactions to anticoagulation used in the circuit
- Feeling tired or lightheaded after a session
- Claims about detoxification and disease treatment are not supported at AION

Questions about Ozone Therapy
Standard ozone therapy, sometimes called major autohemotherapy, treats a smaller volume of blood in a simpler setup. EBOO treats blood in a continuous closed circuit outside the body, with filtration and oxygenation added, then returns it. It is a supervised clinical procedure with dedicated single-use equipment, a specific method within the broader ozone therapy family.
It carries the risks of any extracorporeal procedure, which is why AION requires screening, physician training, nurse support and monitoring. Your physician goes through the risks that apply to you before anything is booked.
That is decided from your assessment, not from a menu. If your blood work and history support it, your physician will discuss it with you as part of your plan.
AION doesn't offer EBOO as a treatment for cancer, chronic disease, or as a form of detox, and won't tell you otherwise. It's considered only where your own diagnostics give a physician a specific, documented reason to discuss it with you.
Very little, and AION says so plainly. The strongest study is a single controlled trial of 28 patients with severe peripheral artery disease, run two decades ago by the researchers who developed the device. It reported improvement in skin symptoms, no change in blood flow, and no adverse events across 210 treatments. There are no larger trials and no independent replication, which is exactly why AION attaches no outcome claims to this procedure.
Connected care
